Phil has been working in Argentina and Chile since 2004 developing lithium projects with Dr Sorentino. A geologist with substantial brine experience he has applied himself to developing projects from inception to completion and recently completed drill programs in Pocitos, Salinas Grandes and Guayatayoc. He was CEO of several public lithium companies including Admiralty Resources NL from 2003-2008, Arrowstar Resources Inc from 2014-2019 and AIS Resources Ltd from 2016-2022 and now Spey Resources Corp.

DR KATHRYN MUMFORD

PROFESSOR

B CHEM ENG, PHD. CHEM ENG, PHD. CHEM/COMMERCE – COLLABORATOR –

Dr Kathryn Mumford is an Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at The University of Melbourne. Kathryn’s research interests are in the areas of separations processes specifically ion exchange, solvent absorption and solvent extraction technologies. These interests range from the manufacture of novel materials, to the development of novel thermodynamic models to predict performance, and onto large scale implementation in the brines, mining, energy, environmental and waste water processing fields. She has previously collaborated with Tsinghua University In Beijing, China on Solvent Extraction Technology use in high magnesium content brines. Tsinghua University is a major research University in Beijing, and a member of the C9 League of Chinese universities. Her previous experience was at Worley Parsons and Huntsman Chemical Corporation. Kathryn currently teaches into the Masters of Engineering (Chemical) program, namely Chemical Engineering Management and Heat and Mass Transport subjects.
